Looking back on 2025

Looking Back on 2025
As another year draws to a close, I’ve been reflecting on what an inspiring and busy one it’s been for the interior design studio. From exciting new projects to growing our team, 2025 has been full of creativity, collaboration and progress.
Ongoing Projects
We’re continuing to work on several beautiful homes, including the Victorian Gables House, a project many of you will have seen glimpses of on our Instagram. It’s been a joy bringing such a characterful property to life, carefully balancing heritage detail with timeless design.
Another highlight has been our Grand Salon project, which I can’t wait to share more about in the new year. This one has been particularly special, combining bespoke craftsmanship with elegant proportions and layered materials to create a truly statement space.
Alongside these, we’ve also completed many single-room projects for clients who prefer to remain anonymous. These keep us wonderfully busy and allow us to create deeply personal spaces that reflect each client’s individual style and needs.
Behind the Scenes
This year has also been about continued development, refining how we work and collaborating with talented makers and suppliers who help bring our designs to life. From visits to London showrooms and Decorex to one-to-one meetings with furniture and fabric houses, building these relationships remains a cornerstone of the studio’s work.
Growing the Team
It’s been exciting to see the team evolve this year. Claire has been working closely with me on décor and design development, while also leading our technical drawings and design concepts alongside Amanda on our developer projects. Their creativity and attention to detail have helped the studio take on even more ambitious work.
We’ve also welcomed Katie, who has been leading our marketing activity and helping us share more of what happens behind the scenes, to social media and beyond.
We joined Houzz Pro this year too, bringing everything under one roof, from project management to client communication.
Inspiration and Renewal
Outside of the studio, I’ve made time for travel and events that continue to shape my work and perspective. Highlights included attending Kate Watson-Smyth’s Interiors Masterclass at Henry’s, exploring new ideas at London Design Weekand Chelsea Flower Show, and returning to El Fenn Marrakech for a restorative design retreat.
These moments of inspiration are invaluable, they remind me how important it is to step away from the day-to-day, connect with others in the industry, and return to the studio with renewed creativity and focus.
As we wind down for Christmas, I’m looking forward to spending some quiet time with my wonderful family and, of course, my beloved sausage dog Lilly.
Thank you to all our wonderful clients, collaborators, and followers for your support throughout 2025. I can’t wait to share more of what’s in store for the year ahead.
